The role of the Front Desk Receptionist and Scheduler at Pacific Endoscopy Center is critical to maintaining smooth operations and ensuring patients receive a positive experience from the moment they walk in. This part-time, PRN position offers a starting pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience. The receptionist will be the welcoming face for patients and their families, responsible for greeting them warmly, managing incoming phone calls effectively, verifying insurance details, handling cash collections, and organizing patient charts accurately. In addition to these duties, the Surgery Scheduler plays an essential role in coordinating daily surgery schedules. This involves working closely with scheduling coordinators from various doctors' offices and operating room staff to strategize, problem-solve, and ensure seamless appointment management.
Success in this role requires a proactive approach to multitasking in a high-paced healthcare environment, excellent clerical and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain professionalism even during stressful situations. - competence in using basic office equipment including computer, printer, telephone, and fax
- experience in medical office setting
