Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner
  • answer, screen, and route phone calls to appropriate personnel
  • manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
  • schedule appointments and manage calendars for executives or managers
  • handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • perform data entry and maintain filing systems
  • address and resolve visitor or client inquiries and complaints
  • provide information about the organization and its services as needed
  • coordinate and schedule meetings and conferences
  • assist with office supplies inventory and ordering
  • support other administrative staff with various tasks as required
