This position is perfect for those who enjoy interacting with people, have excellent customer service skills, and are comfortable multitasking and handling administrative duties under pressure. Familiarity with insurance plans and dental management software is preferred, though training is provided. The role demands a high level of professionalism, patience, and sensitivity toward patients’ needs and emotions. Additionally, the receptionist must be knowledgeable about and adhere to HIPAA regulations, OSHA laws, and safety standards to maintain a secure and confidential environment.
Working hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, plus rotating Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, averaging 30-40 hours per week. This schedule offers a stable yet dynamic work environment where employees can grow their skills and become integral members of the Familia Dental team. Employees also benefit from a range of perks such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and time off, access to financial advisors, and various insurance options including life and disability coverage. Additionally, the office offers the convenience of on-demand pay, allowing employees to access a portion of their paycheck before the official payday.
