The Front Desk Receptionist role at Endoscopy Center of South Sacramento is a crucial position that acts as the initial point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and vendors. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including admitting patients and processing their paperwork, updating patient information within the center's system, and collecting outstanding balances while accurately documenting these transactions in the billing system. The receptionist must be adept at handling office funds according to established procedures and managing incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently. Additional duties include assisting with chart preparation and various business office tasks that support the daily operations of the center. Coordination with the scheduling office is also a key function, ensuring smooth arrangements for procedures and anesthesia coverage. Flexibility is important, as the receptionist may occasionally need to provide coverage at other locations within the network.

This part-time, PRN position involves working one to two days per week with a weekday daytime schedule, specifically Monday through Friday.
