The Front Desk Receptionist role at Rancho Encantado is a critical position responsible for being the warm, welcoming first and last point of contact for guests. Job Requirements
- US work authorization unless currently a manager at a Four Seasons location
- Minimum 2 years receptionist experience, preferably in luxury hospitality
- Proficiency with computer systems
- Ability to stand and move throughout shift
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of receptionist experience, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment
- Proficiency with computers and online systems
- Ability to stand and move behind the desk and around the hotel for entire shifts
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong passion for hospitality and genuine ability to connect authentically with others
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and confidence in decision-making
- Collaborative team player who supports colleagues to achieve shared success
Job Duties
- Check in guests, understanding their situations and feelings and taking action to create the best possible experience
- Check out guests, ensuring satisfaction with empathy and awareness of any issues encountered during their visit
- Act as a confident problem solver in all guest interactions, delivering the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
- Accommodate special requests when possible
- Resolve guest concerns and assist with inquiries
- Utilize multiple computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for upcoming arrivals
- Answer and direct guest phone calls and process reservations, changes, and cancellations
