Shady Acres Pet Ranch is currently seeking friendly, enthusiastic receptionists who are passionate about working with pets in a fun and engaging environment. This role offers the perfect opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with animals and people alike. The receptionists play a vital part in creating positive first impressions for guests and pet owners, handling essential communication and administrative duties while also being kind and attentive caretakers for the animals. The position is part-time, with shifts ranging approximately between 15 to 30 hours per week, including multiple scheduling options such as 4-hour, 8-hour, morning, day, and evening shifts. The starting pay ranges from $13.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and energy brought to the role, with additional pay considerations discussed during the hiring process.

In this role, receptionists are responsible for managing a variety of front-desk tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, giving tours of the facility, and assisting pet owners during check-ins and check-outs for boarding, daycare, and grooming services. They also handle important communications like answering inquiries about fees and policies, contacting veterinary clinics to verify vaccination information, and reminding clients about upcoming appointments. Beyond administrative duties, receptionists provide compassionate care for the pets by recording feeding, medication, elimination, and behavioral notes, as well as offering tender loving care and general cleanliness throughout the ranch.
