This full-time position, with a typical work schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, encompasses a broad range of responsibilities that support both employees and visitors. This role demands acute organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion in handling sensitive information, and a proactive attitude in resolving day-to-day office concerns such as lobby maintenance and coffee area monitoring.\n\nKyndryl values individuals who can operate independently, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit flexibility to accommodate urgent or international time zone requests. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a front desk or administrative support role
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and document management tools
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Availability to work 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed
  • Ability to work onsite at Kyndryl corporate office in New York City
  • Willingness to coordinate with vendors and onsite building contacts
  • Commitment to comply with security and safety protocols
  • Flexibility to adapt to last-minute schedule changes or urgent requests

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a front desk receptionist or similar role for 2 or more years
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experienced with document management systems and e-calendars
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain discretion, judgment, and confidentiality
  • Proactive and professional demeanor with reliability
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when needed
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Welcome employees and visitors with personalized greetings
  • Manage building access via the Sharry system and verify employee identities
  • Direct visitors to their destinations and coordinate with internal hosts
  • Issue visitor badges and ensure adherence to security policies
  • Coordinate building badge requests and desk reservations
  • Maintain lobby cleanliness and monitor the coffee area
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Track packages and ensure proper receipt documentation
  • Refer print issues to IT support and manage paper stock
  • Provide backup coverage for reception and perform additional tasks as requested
