The Front Desk position at Angie Scott Skin Health is essential to delivering the warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere that distinguishes the spa. This part-time role requires working between 15 to 25 hours per week, emphasizing a healthy work-life balance while meeting the needs of the business. As the first point of contact for patients, the Front Desk team is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining the overall organization of the appointment and reception areas. The role is critical in supporting clinical staff by preparing patient charts, scheduling appointments, and answering incoming calls efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multitasking skills, familiarity with phone systems, strong computer competency, and prior customer-facing experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, cosmetic procedures, and skincare products is considered a valuable asset. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer facing environment
  • Experience managing phone systems
  • Excellent communication organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in computer systems and typing skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and check-in patients ensuring a warm and professional welcome
  • Collect patient information and enter it into the system
  • Escort patients to exam rooms ensuring they are comfortable
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms between appointments
  • Process patient check-outs and collect required fees
  • Answer phone calls retrieve voicemail messages schedule appointments and direct calls to the appropriate staff
  • Prepare patient charts and handle all administrative tasks efficiently
  • Ensure the waiting area remains comfortable and tidy
