The Front Desk Receptionist role at SSJC is a full-time, benefited position reporting to the Front Desk Operations Manager. This role is based primarily in the region 12 clinic locations, including Athens Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Commerce clinics, with a schedule of Monday through Friday hours that vary by location and business needs. The role uniquely combines both clerical and clinical responsibilities, requiring the incumbent to handle patient interactions at the front desk, such as greeting patients, verifying insurance coverage, and managing appointment scheduling, alongside clinical duties that include seeing and handling blood within the Ambulatory Surgery Centers. This blend of tasks demands excellent communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
