The clinic prides itself on integrating modern technology with compassionate service, aiming to ensure optimal eye health outcomes for all patients. Their team of experienced professionals works collaboratively to create a positive experience for every visitor, emphasizing professionalism and warmth from the moment patients walk through the door.
Currently, Sandia Vision Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (Front Desk Receptionist) to join their dynamic team. This full-time, hourly position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop a rewarding career in the healthcare field. The ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, dependable, and highly organized with a passion for helping others. Candidates do not need prior eye care experience; on-site training is provided to motivated individuals who exhibit energy, compassion, and a team-focused mindset.
The Patient Care Coordinator will thrive in this role by utilizing skills often developed in high-level customer service environments such as hospitality, premium food service, concierge roles, boutique retail, or other fast-paced service industries. The position demands someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and contributing meaningfully to patients' experiences. Responsibilities include welcoming and assisting patients both in person and over the phone, managing patient information entry within electronic health record systems, handling payments, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Successful candidates will communicate effectively with patients and staff alike, supporting a collaborative clinic culture committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
