Shady Acres Pet Ranch, located in Round Rock, Texas, is a premier pet boarding facility nestled on three beautiful acres of Brushy Creek frontage. Surrounded by the cool shade of 100-year-old oak trees, this ranch provides a unique and serene environment for pets, especially dogs, to stay and be cared for. Unlike typical pet boarding centers, Shady Acres Pet Ranch emphasizes a home away from home experience, ensuring every dog feels safe, loved, and healthy throughout their stay. The receptionists at Shady Acres Pet Ranch play a vital role in maintaining this high standard of care and customer service. This part-time position offers approximately 25 to 30 hours per week with multiple shift options, including mornings, evenings, and weekend opportunities. Beginning pay ranges from $15 to $16 per hour, commensurate with experience and energy brought to the workplace. Receptionists are the friendly face and voice of the ranch, responsible for interacting with clients and their pets in a fun, engaging work environment. The role involves answering phones, scheduling appointments, conducting facility tours, assisting with check-ins and check-outs for boarding, daycare, and grooming services, as well as handling inquiries about fees and policies. Receptionists also communicate with veterinary clinics regarding vaccination information, remind clients about upcoming appointments, and help pet owners with their pets' needs. Additional duties include recording pet feeding, medication, elimination, and behavior and providing tender loving care to the animals.
