Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient with basic computer applications and email management
- Ability to interact positively with customers and pets
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required
Job Qualifications

- Experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Basic computer skills including email and scheduling software
- Comfortable working with pets and understanding basic pet care
- Attention to detail and organization
- Friendly and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Develop and sustain a strong relationship with customers and the resort by interacting in an upbeat, competent, professional manner
- Complete various tasks prior to opening for business and securely close the lobby in the evening
- Check pets in and out for services following established procedures
- Prepare invoices and collect payments
- Make daycare and bathing appointments for existing clients
- Document changes to a pet's care or condition to accurately inform owners
- Communicate with customers by mail and email including condolence cards, thank you cards, lost and found, and vaccination calls
- Direct customer inquiries to the correct departments such as call center for reservations
- Prepare paperwork for pets arriving or departing
- Keep updated on pet care policies and pricing
- Communicate policies and information to customers knowledgeably and friendly
- Check email consistently and follow up with clients timely
- Distribute new client and tour gifts
- Conduct tours for customers as needed
- Maintain front desk and lobby cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere
- Communicate with kennel staff regarding pet issues and take appropriate steps to document, evaluate, and respond
