Job Description
Our company operates a specialized Bilingual Imaging and MRI Center dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to diverse patient populations. We pride ourselves on delivering accurate and timely imaging results utilizing a wide range of modalities including MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds, and X-rays. Our imaging center is committed to maintaining a patient-centric approach where comfort, clarity, and thorough communication are paramount. As a facility that serves a multilingual community, bilingual skills are highly valued to support effective patient interactions and enhance experience throughout the diagnostic process.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Imaging Center Front Desk Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role is essential as the primary point of contact for patients utilizing our imaging services and plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operational flow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of radiology and MRI center experience, be highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with personal injury and letter of protection (LOP) patients is a desirable bonus, reflecting the varied nature of cases handled at our facility.
In this role, the coordinator will be responsible for welcoming patients, completing thorough registration processes, verifying patient identification, and collecting copayments and deductibles. Effective communication with technologists is critical to notify them upon patient arrival and readiness, facilitating timely imaging exams. The coordinator will also handle scheduling responsibilities, answer incoming telephone inquiries promptly, and provide timely transmission of reports and information to physicians’ offices upon request. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives on advancing their career within a healthcare imaging environment. The job offers a competitive hourly wage between $18 and $19 with expected weekly hours totaling 40, alongside health insurance and paid time off benefits. The work will be conducted onsite to ensure direct patient contact and coordination with clinical staff.
