Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a receptionist or in administrative roles
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • computer literacy including proficiency with Google Workspace
  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work in a busy healthcare environment
  • knowledge of electronic claim submission systems like ACOM software, Trizetto, and Availity is a bonus
  • willingness to work full-time in person in Norman, OK

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
  • strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • familiarity with health care office procedures is a plus but not mandatory
  • proficiency in using computer systems and software applications
  • knowledge of Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner
  • manage incoming phone calls using phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel
  • schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office
  • handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • maintain accurate filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure easy access to information
  • utilize Google Workspace for document management and communication with team members
  • provide general administrative support including data entry, correspondence, and clerical duties as needed
  • maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for clients
