Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a receptionist or in administrative roles
- strong communication and customer service skills
- computer literacy including proficiency with Google Workspace
- ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work in a busy healthcare environment
- knowledge of electronic claim submission systems like ACOM software, Trizetto, and Availity is a bonus
- willingness to work full-time in person in Norman, OK
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- familiarity with health care office procedures is a plus but not mandatory
- proficiency in using computer systems and software applications
- knowledge of Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner
- manage incoming phone calls using phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel
- schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office
- handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- maintain accurate filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure easy access to information
- utilize Google Workspace for document management and communication with team members
- provide general administrative support including data entry, correspondence, and clerical duties as needed
- maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for clients
