Moonlight Spa & Hammam is a luxurious Moroccan-inspired spa devoted to providing exceptional client experiences in a serene and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the friendly face and voice of Moonlight Spa & Hammam. This role is critical as it ensures every guest experiences seamless and elevated service from the moment they enter the spa. The position is full-time with an hourly pay rate of $16.30 to $17.00, emphasizing the importance of reliability and flexibility in scheduling. The role’s schedule currently spans Tuesday through Sunday, with shifts that may extend and evolve as the position develops, making full schedule flexibility a key component.

The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients warmly and professionally both in-person and over the phone, scheduling appointments precisely, handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and managing payments with accuracy. This position requires the individual to maintain the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere of the front desk, lobby, locker rooms, and other common areas, ensuring a polished and hygienic environment that aligns with the spa’s luxurious standards. In addition, the receptionist plays a supportive role in retail sales and service upgrades, contributing to the overall customer satisfaction and revenue.

The ideal candidate brings prior experience in customer service or reception roles, preferably within a spa setting, and demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential, as well as a friendly, composed, and professional demeanor that reflects the spa’s commitment to excellence. Familiarity and competence with scheduling tools, POS systems, and basic software applications are necessary for smooth daily operations. Job Duties

  • Greet clients with warmth and professionalism on phone and in-person
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointment bookings
  • Handle check-ins/check-outs and payments
  • Answer phone promptly and courteously
  • Assist with retail product sales or service upgrades when appropriate
  • Keep the front desk and lobby area neat, serene, and inviting
  • Communicate effectively with spa therapists and team members
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front desk, lobby, locker rooms and common areas
  • Assist with housekeeping duties such as clean bathroom, sanitizing surfaces, refreshing towels, and tidying up client spaces when needed
