The Front Desk Receptionist role at America's Best is a vital position within the store, acting as the first point of contact for customers both in person and over the phone. This part-time, bilingual (Spanish and English) position requires someone who can warmly welcome customers, manage patient records efficiently, and support the smooth scheduling and operation of the store’s appointments. The receptionist serves as the “glue” holding daily operations together by providing prompt, courteous service and ensuring high-quality customer interactions while following all safety protocols.
This role is perfect for candidates who enjoy working in a customer-focused environment and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. The receptionist's duties include answering and screening phone calls, processing managed care plans, scheduling appointments, handling follow-up visits, managing mail and inventory, and maintaining a tidy, welcoming reception area. The individual must be fluent in both English and Spanish to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base. Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar front office role is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly manner
- keep organized patient records and help patient schedules flow smoothly
- answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to company protocol
- process and understand managed care plans and obtain necessary insurance information
- provide customers with basic and accurate information
- schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes
- file all patient records daily and prepare files for the next day
- check order statuses and notify customers of updates or delays
- maintain reception area tidiness and ensure availability of all necessary materials
- receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
- maintain inventory of office supplies
- participate in mandatory communication meetings
