As the frontline representative, the Front Desk Receptionist / Service Coordinator plays an essential role in ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include welcoming customers with a friendly and professional manner, scheduling service appointments, accurately opening and managing repair orders, and acting as a liaison between customers and the technical team. The incumbent is expected to communicate customer concerns clearly to technicians and service advisors, provide timely updates on vehicle status through phone, text, or email, and coordinate vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups.

In addition to customer service duties, the role involves handling invoices, payments, and basic bookkeeping to maintain accurate records. The Receptionist / Service Coordinator also assists with parts ordering and communicates with vendors as needed, contributing to the shop’s overall operational efficiency. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front office and waiting areas is another important aspect of the job to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
