Job Description

Our client is a pioneering aerospace company known for its rapid growth and innovative approach within the industry. Operating in a secure, high-traffic environment that often welcomes visits from government partners and leading industry stakeholders, this company stands at the forefront of aerospace technology and development. Situated in Redondo Beach, California, the firm fosters a dynamic workplace that seamlessly combines cutting-edge aerospace advancements with excellence in administrative operations. This environment not only demands high professionalism but also a dedication to security and organizational efficiency to support its multifaceted activities.

The company is currently seeking a polished, experienced Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the essential first point of contact for all visitors, including high-level executives and government guests. This front desk role is crucial in maintaining a welcoming and highly organized reception area that reflects the company’s values and commitment to professionalism. Working within a two-receptionist model, the successful candidate will collaborate alongside a seasoned team member transitioning into broader facilities and security responsibilities, thereby ensuring a seamless, coordinated approach to visitor management and office operations.

This full-time position offers stability and a long-term career path for individuals who are passionate about front desk operations and thrive in environments where meticulous hospitality and organization are paramount. The role begins early, requiring the individual to start consistently at 7:30 AM to support morning visitor flow effectively. Responsibilities include managing daily front desk activities in a busy setting, coordinating visitor check-ins and badges through a visitor management system (with training provided), and partnering closely with security and facilities teams to enforce access controls and protocols.

Additional tasks encompass managing conference room calendars using Microsoft Outlook, facilitating internal communication through platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack, and maintaining a clean, professional reception space. Handling incoming calls, inquiries, and providing general administrative support as needed are also integral parts of this role. The company prides itself on creating a secure environment while fostering professionalism and approachability, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates who excel in high-visibility roles and who enjoy sustaining a welcoming workplace.

Compensation starts at $26 to $30 per hour under a contract-to-hire model, with advancement to $30 per hour upon conversion. The position also includes a comprehensive benefits package and equity options, underscoring the company’s commitment to employee well-being and growth. With a Monday through Friday schedule spanning from 7:30/8:00 AM through 4:30/5:00 PM, this opportunity blends consistency with the excitement of working at the intersection of aerospace innovation and industry-leading administrative excellence. Candidates interested should be prepared to undergo a background check, with an anticipated start date targeting late April.
