We are currently seeking a mature and dynamic Receptionist to join our front office team. This role is pivotal in establishing a positive first impression for new patients and maintaining excellent service for our existing patient community. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced medical office environment. Responsibilities include greeting and welcoming patients in a professional and friendly manner, verifying patient demographics and insurance information, managing financial transactions such as co-pays and outstanding balances, scheduling appointments across multiple office locations, and handling incoming calls with efficiency and courtesy. Additionally, the Receptionist will assist in covering duties during staff absences and perform other tasks as assigned by physicians or office managers. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $20.00, reflecting our commitment to hiring skilled and dedicated individuals. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front office role preferred
- Must be flexible and available to work both mornings and afternoons
- Competent with MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with total confidentiality
- Must be able to work independently as well as coordinate with others
- Ability to commute to Provo, UT
- Ability to relocate to Provo, UT before starting work

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Check in patients and verify demographics and insurance information
- Collect all co-pays, coinsurance and outstanding balances at time of check-in
- Check out patients and schedule follow up appointments as needed
- Accurately enter all new patient demographic information and scan insurance cards into EMR
- Schedule patient appointments for all office locations
- Answer and screen all incoming calls
- Assist in covering for other front office staff for vacations, sickness
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by physicians or office managers
