Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Previous hotel reservation experience or any combination of education, training, or experience
  • Ability to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Proactive and able to work well under pressure
  • Strong clerical, compiling, following instructions, memorization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly
  • Basic math, reading, and writing abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel reservation experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Proactive and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients
  • Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, and appropriate communications and presents information in a concise and understandable format
  • Ability of simple math, and complex reading, writing, and task completion skills
  • Clerical skills

  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Answer phone calls to the front desk
  • Assign and prepare airline rooms
  • Balance inventory
  • Assign group rooms and suites
  • Assist in the check-in and check-out process
  • Be the main contact for group contacts
  • Attend preconvention meetings and speak about arriving group details
  • Work with sales and conventions on group arrivals
  • Be able to handle guest issues and resolve them to the guest satisfaction
  • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
