Job Description
FS Residential is a leading property management firm specializing in residential buildings, offering comprehensive management services designed to enhance residents' living experiences. With a commitment to excellence and community engagement, FS Residential manages numerous properties across multiple locations, ensuring top-tier customer service and operational efficiency. The company is known for its focus on quality, safety, and resident satisfaction, aiming to create welcoming and well-maintained environments in every property under its care. As part of its ongoing growth and commitment to delivering premium service, FS Residential is seeking a reliable and motivated Part Time Front Desk Associate to join their team.
The Part Time Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth operation of the residential building. This position requires an individual who can work independently without direct supervision while demonstrating exceptional communication and customer service skills. The associate will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and service providers, responsible for greeting visitors professionally, checking them in and out, and ensuring strict adherence to building policies and access control procedures.
This position demands strong situational awareness, including monitoring security cameras and responding promptly to emergencies. The associate will operate electronic security control systems and maintain accurate daily logs and records to support the building's safety protocols. Familiarity with fire alarm systems and the ability to shut off water to fire systems or individual units is highly desirable.
The role also emphasizes professionalism and attention to detail, requiring the associate to remain firm yet courteous when enforcing building policies. Multitasking skills and computer literacy, including basic Excel and Microsoft Word proficiency, are essential. This part-time position offers overnight shifts on weekends, specifically from 11 PM to 7 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, with a competitive hourly wage of $19.50.
FS Residential fosters a supportive working environment, encouraging teamwork, flexibility, and dependability. The associate is expected to remain on duty, if necessary, until replacement arrives in case of delayed relief, ensuring continuous front desk coverage. The dress code for this role is professional all-black attire until uniforms are provided by the building.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with previous front desk experience, especially in residential settings, who are seeking a consistent, part-time role with a reputable property management company. Bilingual abilities, particularly English and Spanish, are a preferred asset. The company embraces diversity and provides a respectful workplace where candidates can grow their skills and contribute positively to community living.
