We are currently seeking a Resort Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team at one of our resort properties. This hourly position, offering a competitive rate of $21.00, plays a crucial role in overseeing various functional areas within resort operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Activities, Loss Prevention, and Food and Beverage. As a Resort Operations Supervisor, you will be the frontline leader responsible for providing top-tier service to our owners and guests by supervising staff, addressing service needs, and ensuring smooth property operations. You will employ company-specific protocols to respond proactively and positively to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring that any issues are resolved efficiently and meet Marriott Vacations Worldwide's high standards of customer satisfaction.
This role is designed to be rotational; supervisors will gain broad exposure by performing supervisory duties across multiple departments, thereby developing a comprehensive understanding of all resort operations. Your responsibilities will extend beyond direct supervision to include participation in key management functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and motivating associates to uphold performance excellence and service quality. You will maintain rigorous attention to detail in adherence to safety policies and operational procedures while fostering a positive, professional work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospitality or resort environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, standing, and walking
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service
- Ability to follow safety policies and complete required training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or resort operations preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple functional areas
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures

Job Duties
- Supervise Front Desk, Housekeeping, Activities, Loss Prevention, and Food and Beverage staff to ensure excellent guest service
- Actively listen and respond positively to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
- Ensure adherence to company safety and security policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and support team goals
- Anticipate and address guest service needs promptly
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information
