The role of Front Desk Opener at The Club is a vital position that serves as the initial point of contact for members as they begin their fitness routines each morning. This role requires a highly dependable, punctual individual who can open the facility on time and uphold the highest standards of service and operational efficiency. The Front Desk Opener will ensure that all opening procedures are completed accurately and efficiently, including the preparation and stocking of the Juice Bar, management of cash deposits, and other key operational tasks.

Working hours are focused on early mornings from 4:00 am to 11:00 am on weekdays, designed to support members before they start their daily commitments. This part-time, non-exempt position offers an hourly wage with semi-monthly payment, attracting candidates who are reliable and enthusiastic about fitness and customer service. The role involves regular interaction with members, addressing account issues, answering inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.

In addition to customer-facing responsibilities, the Front Desk Opener will manage inventory counts, ensure adequate towel supplies, and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the fitness center. Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling cleaning chemicals, all within a sometimes noisy environment. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Opens the fitness center promptly at 5:00 am Monday through Friday
  • Ensures all cash deposits are handled accurately and securely
  • Ensures towels are clean, stocked, and available for members
  • Prepares and stocks Juice Bar ingredients and equipment for the day
  • Greets members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ensures members and guests check in appropriately
  • Assists members with account issues and answer general questions
  • Completes regular cleaning tasks throughout the fitness center
  • Counts inventory and reports any discrepancies to management
  • Performs additional tasks as needed
