Job Description

The hiring establishment is a reputable medical facility located in the Holyoke, MA area, dedicated to providing outstanding healthcare services to the community it serves. We are currently seeking a friendly, outgoing, and upbeat Concierge to join our team. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for patients, visitors, and staff who enter the facility. The Concierge position involves working specific shifts that include Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 1 pm to 11 pm, and Saturdays with two available shifts: 6:45 am to 2 pm or 1:45 pm to 9 pm. All applicants must be willing to work at least one weekend shift, emphasizing the need for flexibility and commitment.

This position is focused on greeting all incoming individuals with a warm welcome, ensuring their comfort and safety from the moment they arrive. The Concierge will be responsible for asking screening questions to maintain the safety protocols of the facility. They will also provide directions using a facility directory to assist patients and visitors in navigating the hospital. Additionally, the role requires communication skills to arrange interpreter services when necessary and perform light lobby tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and basic operations.

Another critical aspect of the Concierge role is answering incoming calls and booking transportation services, facilitating smooth logistics for patients requiring assistance. This position requires an individual who can consistently deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining a neat appearance and a positive, professional attitude. The role offers a base pay of $17.00 per hour, starting immediately, with added benefits including paid sick and vacation time, health and dental insurance for full-time employees after 90 days on a 50/50 cost split, and eligibility for a 401k retirement plan after one year. New hires will undergo a 30-day trial period to ensure satisfactory performance. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 1 pm to 11 pm

  • ability to pass a background check
