Job Description
Our client is a well-established medical facility located in the Holyoke, MA area, dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the community. This medical center prides itself on fostering a welcoming and compassionate environment for patients, visitors, and staff alike. Committed to excellence in healthcare, the facility employs a team-oriented approach, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all individuals who walk through its doors. The facility operates seven days a week, striving to maintain safety, efficiency, and comfort throughout its premises.
We are currently seeking a friendly, outgoing, and upbeat Concierge to join the team. The Concierge role serves as the first and last impression for patients and visitors, playing a crucial part in creating a warm and professional atmosphere at the medical facility. This position requires excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. The Concierge will be responsible for greeting incoming patients, visitors, and staff with a warm welcome, conducting safety screening, providing directions within the hospital, coordinating interpreter services, managing the lobby's cleanliness and organization, handling incoming phone inquiries, and assisting with booking transportation services.
Shifts for this position are scheduled seven days a week, with the current need primarily on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 1pm to 11pm, and Saturday shifts divided as 6:45am to 2pm or 1:45pm to 9pm. The role requires the availability to work at least one weekend shift. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and healthcare support, seeking a dynamic role in a fast-paced medical environment.
The position offers a competitive base pay starting at $17.00 per hour, with additional benefits including paid sick and vacation time, health and dental insurance for full-time employees after 90 days with a 50/50 premium split, and 401(k) plan availability after one year of employment. The company values professionalism and requires all employees to maintain a neat appearance and a positive attitude, ready to greet each shift with a smile. Employees will undergo a 30-day trial period to ensure satisfactory performance and alignment with management's standards.
Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and fair hiring practices, with management holding the final decision regarding employment offers. If you are a personable individual who enjoys engaging with people and can contribute to a welcoming healthcare environment, this Concierge opportunity could be an excellent match. The role blends administrative responsibilities with frontline customer service, requiring reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for assisting others. If you meet the qualifications and requirements, we encourage you to apply and become part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing patient and visitor experiences at the facility.
