Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required
  • experience with hotel reservation systems such as InforHMS or Alice is a plus
  • strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, welcoming check-in experience
  • efficiently check in guests by verifying reservation details, processing payments, and assigning rooms
  • handle guest check-outs ensuring all charges are accurately posted and guests leave with a positive impression
  • respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • resolve any issues or concerns during guest stays ensuring satisfaction with resolution
  • provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and dining options
  • assist guests with special requests
  • communicate effectively with other hotel departments to address guest needs and maintain seamless operations
  • handle incoming phone calls and direct them to appropriate departments or assist with reservations
  • monitor hotel email system and assist with online reservation inquiries
  • maintain accurate guest records ensuring all information is correctly entered
  • process reservations and cancellations ensuring efficient room allocation
  • assist with preparing reports, inventory checks, and stocking front desk supplies
  • ensure safety and security of guests, team members, and hotel property
  • adhere to hotel policies related to emergency protocols and health and safety guidelines
  • work collaboratively with front desk team members and managers to maintain high guest satisfaction levels
