This position is critical as it shapes the guest's first impression and overall experience at the venue. The role involves greeting guests warmly, assisting with game rentals, merchandise sales, and dining arrangements, while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. Job Duties
- Deliver unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
- Act as ambassador greeting guests with positive attitude and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephones
- Keep supervisor informed of significant problems and take corrective actions or suggest alternatives
- Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite return visits
- Prepare shift area stocked with menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
- Review and maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
- Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift
- Foster cooperative and harmonious working relationships with team members
- Notify manager of unhappy guests
- Assist other team members as needed
- Scout and clean tables to drive table turn timing
- Rotate seating fairly and balance dining areas
- Manage guest flow from entrance and direct guests as needed
- Communicate wait times and relevant information to guests, team members and managers
- Deliver silverware as guests are seated
- Make timely and accurate bill calculations
- Greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
- Reconcile monies from banks
- Complete to-go order transactions ensuring accuracy
- Sell merchandise from front desk if applicable
- Smile frequently and maintain professional appearance
- Communicate effectively to generate enthusiasm for Dave & Buster’s
- Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and notify managers
- Follow dress guidelines and maintain neatness
- Read, write and communicate clearly in English
- Be at least 16 years of age
