The Front Desk & Guest Care position at Concord Hospitality is integral to the guest experience, as it places you at the very heart of the hotel operations. This role requires a passion for service, a warm and engaging personality, and a strong sense of responsibility. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for setting the tone of their stay, making every interaction count. This role involves a wide range of duties, including greeting and assisting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and addressing any guest concerns promptly with professionalism and care. The position also involves handling guest payments, maintaining cash handling protocols, and managing guest communications and messages discreetly. A comprehensive understanding of the hotel brand, its amenities, promotional offers, and safety procedures is necessary to provide knowledgeable guidance and assure the guests of a seamless experience.
Working as a Front Desk or Guest Services Clerk means collaborating with multiple departments to ensure guest satisfaction and well-being. Communication and teamwork are crucial components as you relay important guest feedback and concerns to hotel management and other teams. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior customer service experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- basic computer literacy
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Assisting guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
- maintain a high level of service and hospitality
- promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in timely manner
- post guest charges, collect payments and follow all cash handling procedures as required by Concord
- handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism
- be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers)
- be a great communicator to various departments and management on guest comments and concerns
- respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
- have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
