Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • able to work days, nights and weekends as required
  • able to work in noisy, fast paced environment
  • able to read and write handwritten notes
  • able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • able to move about facility and stand for long periods
  • able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
  • able to reach, bend and stoop frequently
  • must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
  • must be dressed in accordance with guidelines
  • must demonstrate clear greetings and requests for assistance
  • able to calmly respond to dissatisfied guests and alert manager
  • must have positive attitude and friendly demeanor

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
  • act as ambassador greeting guests with enthusiasm and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephones
  • keep supervisor informed of problems and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting return visits
  • prepare shift by stocking area with menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • manage table turn timing by scouting open tables and bussing as necessary
  • manage guest flow from front doors and communicate wait times to guests, team members, and managers
  • process transactions accurately while greeting guests efficiently and with a smile
  • reconcile money from banks and complete to-go order transactions
  • assist other team members and notify manager of unhappy guests
  • rotate seating according to guidelines to ensure fairness
  • sell merchandise from front desk if applicable
  • demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English clearly
  • respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and call issues to manager's attention
  • adhere to dress guidelines looking neat, clean and professional
