Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Work days, nights and weekends as required
- Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Reach, bend and stoop frequently
- Maintain neat, clean and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in restaurant, retail or cashier roles preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced environments
- Customer service orientation with friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for transaction handling
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and attitude
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- Act as ambassador greeting guests while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephones
- Keep supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action
- Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting return visits
- Prepare the shift by stocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness and organization of front desk and host stations
- Conduct merchandise inventory and discuss problem areas with manager
- Maintain favorable working relationship with team members to promote morale, productivity and efficiency
- Notify manager of unhappy guests and assist team members as needed
- Manage table turn timing by scouting, bussing and cleaning tables
- Rotate seating fairly following guidelines and manage flow from front doors efficiently
- Manage wait times and communicate with guests, team members and managers
- Deliver silverware as guests are seated and make accurate bill transaction calculations
- Greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
- Reconcile monies from banks and complete to-go orders accurately
- Sell merchandise from front desk if applicable
- Maintain friendly demeanor and smile frequently
- Communicate effectively with guests generating enthusiasm
- Dress neat, clean and professional
- Read and communicate clearly in English
- Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and notify management
- Must be at least 16 years old
