This full-time position demands physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and performing other activities that support daily operations. Flexibility in work schedule is essential as shifts may vary and include holidays, weekends, evenings, and occasionally extended hours. Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be well-groomed and maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, and reach
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Effective communication skills
- Must be able to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Excellent attendance and reliability
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in guest services or related role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented
- Proficient in computer systems and property management software
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and patience
Job Duties
- Increase guest satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous guest service in accordance with the standards of the hotel while adhering to guidelines and procedures
- Execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue
- Understand and implement the mission statement, values, and culture at all times
- Multi-task, detail-oriented, and remain service-centric
- Communicate with guests and co-workers, receive and transmit mail, phone, and written messages and relay pertinent information using log books
- Manage time effectively
- Assist with guest issues with professionalism in maintaining a hospitable attitude
- Computer literate to thoroughly operating property management systems: post charges, compute bills, collect payments, and make changes
