As a part of a healthcare facility specializing in counseling, Arcadia Counseling is committed to fostering a collaborative and efficient workplace for both therapists and clients alike. The center is known for its professional approach, comprehensive support services, and community-oriented values that emphasize client care and confidentiality.

Arcadia Counseling is currently seeking a part-time evening receptionist to join their team, offering an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy administrative roles within a healthcare setting. This position requires availability from 4 PM to 9:30 PM, three to four evenings per week, with potential Saturday shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and clients, playing a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations and an inviting atmosphere.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling various clerical duties, including managing phone calls, emails, and texts efficiently. You will facilitate client onboarding, verify insurance benefits, handle billing, and manage therapists' calendars by scheduling appointments and coordinating communications. The role necessitates a high level of multitasking and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally. Your proactive approach will help streamline office operations and contribute to excellent customer service, which is a cornerstone of Arcadia Counseling's client experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a friendly and professional demeanor, with strong communication skills and a patient, courteous approach toward clients and colleagues. Experience in handling emergency situations swiftly and effectively is essential, along with the capability to maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area. Familiarity with office technology and scheduling software will be advantageous as you support therapists and ensure client information is updated and accurate in the company platform.

Working as a receptionist at Arcadia Counseling is more than just a front desk job; it is an opportunity to be part of a meaningful mental health community. Your contributions will directly impact client satisfaction and help uphold the center’s mission to provide accessible, respectful, and effective counseling services. This position offers opportunities for advancement and paid time off, making it an attractive role for those interested in building a career in healthcare administration or mental health support services.
