This full-time position features a five-day work schedule with no nights or weekends, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The role is integral to the smooth functioning of our office, involving a blend of administrative tasks and patient interaction. The ideal candidate will bring medical or dental office experience and possess a solid understanding of insurance processes. This position requires excellent multitasking abilities and an eagerness to provide top-notch customer service to our patients. From answering calls with a welcoming and friendly voice to managing scheduling and insurance verification, the Front Desk Dental Receptionist serves as the face of our office and a vital link between patients and providers.
Key responsibilities include answering phone calls and greeting patients, assisting with scheduling and confirming appointments, managing filing and documentation, and entering insurance checks accurately. This role also involves maintaining correspondence with referring doctors, checking patients in and out, processing charges, collecting payments, and verifying patient insurance benefits and cost estimates. Flexibility is essential, as the person in this role will support a range of other administrative tasks that ensure the office runs efficiently.

Job Requirements

- Previous experience in dental or medical administrative roles
