This opportunity is for a Per Diem Front Desk Coordinator at the Fresenius Medical Care Surgery Center located in Reno, NV. This center operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. As the Patient Services Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of patient interaction, ensuring smooth scheduling, accurate medical record management, and effective communication with patients, physicians, and insurance providers. The role requires a high level of professionalism, coordination, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling all patient appointments and managing cancellations or additions with efficiency and attention to detail. You will facilitate the admission process by greeting patients and visitors, verifying insurance information, and assembling medical records confidentially and accurately. An Associate Degree or higher is preferred, along with 1 to 2 years of related experience in a medical setting, particularly with insurance billing. Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for success.
