This specific role at Juniper Communities is part-time, working Thursday through Saturday, with a competitive pay rate of $19.29 per hour. It centers around the front desk and administrative functions at Juniper Village at the Spearly Center, a specialized community located in downtown Denver that caters to approximately 130 residents. These residents often live with chronic mental illness, brain injuries, or neurological disorders, and the community provides skilled long-term care and short-term rehabilitation within a therapeutic setting. The Spearly Center is designed as an urban oasis that offers beautifully renovated outdoor spaces and multiple areas tailored to meet the diverse needs of its residents.

The role involves being the vital first impression for visitors, residents, and family members, acting as a key liaison with the leadership team. Responsibilities include managing daily front desk operations, handling telephone communications, and supporting administrative and clerical tasks to enhance the efficiency of community operations. The position supports outreach initiatives through mailing and marketing, prepares necessary documents and reports, and assists in coordination related to resident services and staff onboarding processes. This role is essential in maintaining a warm, organized, and welcoming environment reflecting Juniper Communities' commitment to person-centered care and an inclusive culture. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greets and directs visitors to the building and maintains a clean and organized work space to include waiting and concierge areas
  • Answers incoming phone calls, forwards and takes messages as appropriate
  • Assists in mailing and marketing initiatives by organizing and distributing mail, sending and receiving packages, prepares and sends communities invitations, notices, flyers, etc. as directed
  • Performs secretarial and computer/data processing duties such as preparing reports and logs, coordinating move-ins, resident assessments and transportation, preparing resident files, prepares training materials, and assists with coordination of onboarding/hiring process as needed
