The Front Desk Concierge role at ROOST Cleveland represents an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is flexible, attentive, and highly reliable. This full-time position demands a polished and professional demeanor combined with exceptional guest service skills. As the primary point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Concierge plays a critical role in ensuring guests’ safety, comfort, and overall seamless experience. This position requires managing a variety of hospitality and operational tasks including welcoming and assisting guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, responding promptly to guest inquiries, and maintaining building security. Additional responsibilities include conducting property walkthroughs, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams, and managing communications through phones and emails. This role is essential to uphold the distinguished guest experience that ROOST Cleveland and Method Co. are known for. Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in front desk, concierge, or guest service

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year of front desk, concierge, or guest-service experience (hotel or luxury residential preferred)
  • strong communication skills and a naturally warm, guest-focused demeanor
  • ability to remain composed, professional, and attentive during quiet or high-pressure moments
  • comfortable working independently and making sound decisions
  • basic proficiency with reservation systems and front-office software
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • flexible schedule with availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Welcome and assist guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
  • manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservation inquiries
  • respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns
  • monitor building access and maintain a secure, calm environment
  • conduct property walkthroughs and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • handle phone calls, emails, and guest communications
  • maintain accurate records, logs, and daily reports
  • support light administrative tasks and prepare materials for the team
  • ensure the lobby and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and guest-ready
  • collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management as needed
