The role of the concierge is multifaceted and central to the day-to-day operations of the building's front desk services. The individual will be responsible for greeting and directing residents and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards of the community. Beyond basic reception duties, the concierge will anticipate and exceed resident and guest expectations by providing seamless service tailored to individual needs, from scheduling local transportation and managing move-ins to arranging dinner reservations and event planning. This position requires excellent communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capability to think quickly and effectively under pressure, maintaining composure to make concise decisions whenever necessary.

The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and self-motivated, taking pride and ownership in their responsibilities and the property itself. Attention to detail is critical, encompassing tasks such as logging and managing guest packages, conducting package inventory audits, and ensuring the safety and security of residents by monitoring surveillance systems and patrolling property areas. Job Requirements

  • Have at least two year of hospitality experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Takes pride and ownership in the position and property
  • Ability to listen and react quickly to residents’ and guests’ requests in a genuine manner
  • Be organized, proactive, productive and self-motivated showing a positive attitude
  • Maintain a neat and professionally well-groomed appearance
  • Think clearly, quickly and efficiently and make concise decisions even under pressure
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional coursework or training in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Must have experience delivering exceptional service
  • Experience in hospitality or upscale customer service or retail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possess amazing interpersonal skills and exceptional guest service abilities

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct residents and visitors with a pleasant attitude
  • Exceed residents' and guests' expectations by providing anticipatory service and ensuring smooth accommodations
  • Cultivate and retain cohesive relationships with residents, vendors and contractors
  • Professional telephone etiquette and message delivery
  • Accurately log guest packages, ensure timely delivery and perform package inventory audits
  • Monitor lobby and surveillance cameras and patrol property to ensure resident safety and security
  • Assist in the scheduling and completion of all amenities' requests including local transportation, residents' move-ins, dinner reservations, pet walking, dry-cleaning pick-ups and drop-offs, event planning, grocery and package delivery, housekeeping
