The role available is for a Concierge Floater position within a luxury residential high-rise. This position is perfect for engaging, energetic, and professional individuals passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences to residents and guests. The Concierge Floater is responsible for ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations by offering anticipatory service and providing flawless support for daily resident needs. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in hospitality or upscale customer service, including exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency, positive attitude, and professionalism.

This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine approach in responding to residents’ and guests’ requests. Working as a Concierge Floater demands flexibility, as shifts can include nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous support in the building’s operations.

The Concierge will manage responsibilities such as greeting and directing residents and visitors with a pleasant attitude, logging and delivering guest packages accurately, monitoring security through surveillance systems, and coordinating a variety of amenities - from scheduling local transportation and move-ins to assisting with event planning and pet care. This position also requires maintaining confidentiality and fostering positive relationships with residents, vendors, and contractors.

Job Requirements

  • Have at least two years of hospitality experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to listen and react quickly to residents’ and guests’ requests in a genuine manner
  • Possess amazing interpersonal skills and exceptional guest service abilities
  • Be organized, proactive, productive and self-motivated showing a positive attitude

  • Think clearly, quickly and efficiently and make concise decisions even under pressure
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct residents and visitors with a pleasant attitude
  • Exceed residents' and guests' expectations by providing anticipatory service and ensuring smooth accommodation
  • Cultivate and retain cohesive relationships with residents, vendors and contractors
  • Professional telephone etiquette and message delivery
  • Accurately log guest packages, ensure timely delivery and perform package inventory audits
  • Monitor lobby and surveillance cameras and patrol property to ensure resident safety and security
  • Assist in the scheduling and completion of all amenities requests including local transportation, residents’ move-ins, dinner reservations, pet walking, dry-cleaning pick-ups and drop-offs, event planning, grocery and package delivery, housekeeping, etc.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
