The Front Desk & Guest Care position at Concord Hospitality is a pivotal role that places the employee at the very center of the hotel's operations. The individual in this role serves as the primary point of interaction between guests and the hotel, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, respected, and well taken care of. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $17 per hour and includes the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
As a Front Desk Clerk or Guest Services Clerk, the successful candidate will be entrusted with numerous responsibilities vital to the overall guest experience. This role requires a proactive, responsive, and caring individual who thrives in engaging with others and maintains a high level of responsibility. The duties include assisting guests courteously and professionally, managing guest requests and concerns with promptness and effectiveness, and upholding rigorous hospitality and service standards throughout every interaction.
In this role, the employee will also handle critical administrative functions such as posting guest charges, processing payments in strict adherence to cash handling procedures, and managing guest mail and messages with confidentiality and professionalism. The employee is expected to be well-versed in the hotel’s brand, current travel and special offers, and capable of communicating effectively with different departments and management to relay guest feedback and concerns.
The position also involves being the first line of response to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team member requests for front desk assistance. Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency protocols is essential to ensure guest and staff security. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Basic computer skills
