We are currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Clerk to join our team, offering a competitive wage of $16 per hour. This position plays a vital role in delivering outstanding guest service and managing the front office operations efficiently. The Front Desk Clerk is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and assisting them courteously and professionally. The role includes handling reservations, processing check-ins and check-outs, managing transactions, and addressing guest concerns promptly to ensure a seamless experience throughout their stay.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, displaying reliability and professionalism that reflects the brand’s values. This position requires adaptability and a team-oriented mindset, as well as familiarity with property management systems to manage bookings and billing effectively. The Front Desk Clerk will also collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and maximize revenue opportunities, demonstrating proactive engagement in hotel operations. Other responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, adhering to cash-handling protocols, complying with hotel policies and standards, and attending necessary training sessions to stay updated on operational procedures.
You will work various shifts and must be flexible with scheduling to meet the needs of the hotel. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience
- basic computer skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- dependable and punctual
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- familiarity with property management systems a plus

Job Duties
- Greet and assist hotel guests in a courteous and professional manner
- process guest arrivals, departures, and special requests efficiently
- maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and rate management
- follow hotel cash-handling procedures
- maintain a clean, organized front desk area
- address guest concerns and work toward prompt resolution
- report safety, security, and maintenance concerns to management
- complete shift reports, cash drops, and other front desk duties
- maintain proper key control procedures
- comply with hotel, brand, and company standards and policies
- work closely with the sales team to identify revenue opportunities
- utilize the property management system (PMS) effectively
- attend meetings and training sessions as required
- be flexible with scheduling and available to work various shifts
