Exceptional communication skills are necessary to respond to guest inquiries, messages, and requests, ensuring that all guests feel valued and their needs are promptly met.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals, providing guests with detailed information about the hotel and local area, including parking instructions, and dispatching bell staff or valet services as required. The role also involves administrative tasks such as running daily reports on arrivals and departures, cash handling procedures, bank balancing, and closing cashier reports, all of which are critical to maintaining operational integrity and financial accuracy.
Safety and security are paramount in this role, requiring adherence to all company protocols and procedures. Employees must maintain a professional appearance and behavior, protect company assets, and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
