Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or front desk position
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
  • Must be proactive, responsive and have a caring attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in front desk or guest services role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with basic computer applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
  • Maintain a high level of service and hospitality
  • Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues ensuring satisfaction in a timely manner
  • Post guest charges, collect payments and follow cash handling procedures
  • Handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism
  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs including travel programs and special offers
  • Communicate effectively with various departments and management about guest comments and concerns
  • Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
  • Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
