The role of Front Desk Associate at the Delta Hotel is crucial as it directly influences guests' experiences from the moment of arrival through departure. This position focuses on delivering warm, knowledgeable, and timely service to guests by handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries both in-person and over the telephone. The Front Desk Associate ensures that all guest interactions are courteous and professional, reinforcing the hotel's reputation as a premier hospitality destination. As a Front Desk Associate, the incumbent is responsible for welcoming guests, confirming reservation details, processing payments, and promoting the hotel's preferred guest program. This position demands attention to detail as the associate must maintain accurate records of reservations, manage the house bank responsibly, and process a variety of guest requests ranging from room amenities to special billing instructions. The role requires the ability to calmly handle and resolve guest complaints, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a high level of professionalism. The associate also coordinates with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest experiences, including assisting with luggage, managing wake-up calls, and providing local area information and recommendations.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt standards and processes

  • ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically
