Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience operating telephone switchboard and office equipment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds occasionally
  • Capability to work regular business hours with flexibility for overtime
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and office software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with billing software preferred
  • Demonstrated safety first attitude and adherence to safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Operate telephone switchboard to answer calls, screen or forward calls, provide information, take messages, or schedule appointments
  • Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, direct or escort them to specific destinations
  • Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
  • Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public
  • File and maintain records
  • Receive payment and record receipts for services
  • Perform administrative support tasks such as proofreading, transcribing information, or operating office machinery
  • Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries
  • Provide information about the establishment including location of departments, offices, employees, and services
  • Keep an updated record of staff members' whereabouts and availability
