Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
- Physically able to maneuver throughout the club and equipment
- Physical ability to complete assigned cleaning tasks
- Ability to provide basic equipment assistance
- Competence in operating office equipment such as phone, fax machine, computer, copy machine
- Consistent basic math skills
- Demonstrated responsibility in attendance and task completion
- Effective communication skills
- Successful completion of required training and drug testing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated competence in operating basic office equipment including phone, fax machine, computer, and copy machine
- Successful completion of Manage Staff training
- Successful completion of Mountainside Training Program
- Basic math skills appropriate for cash handling
- Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills with managers, co-workers, and members
- Self-motivated and able to seek out additional duties
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Maintain and enforce the safety of members and guests
- Attend to the needs of members and guests providing excellent customer service
- Check in all members and guests greeting them by name and taking pictures if needed
- Maintain an adequate supply of towels
- Assist members with equipment usage
- Schedule tanning, massage, and assessment appointments
- Ring in purchases for clothing, tanning, programs, and miscellaneous items
- Provide answers to general questions or seek out answers promptly
- Use the telephone properly and only for business purposes
- Follow the Chain of Command for tours, membership sign-ups, cancellations, account changes, and billing issues
- Arrive promptly for shifts and dress according to club policy
- Avoid absenteeism and follow department protocol for time off and shift changes
- Charge and collect correct fees for all payments and purchases
- Complete paperwork accurately including incident reports and equipment repairs
- Maintain a clean front desk area and cooperate with co-workers on cleaning tasks
- Follow opening and closing procedures and drawer reconciliation
- Attend all staff meetings and read staff communications
- Adhere to all policies and procedures specified by the Employee Handbook
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
