Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a medical office or dermatology setting preferred
  • familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • proficiency in using computer systems and basic office software
  • ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to learn and grow within the organization
  • ability to spend a great deal of the day walking, standing, moving and manipulating equipment, as well as lifting and moving objects up to 20-25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • manage patient check-ins and check-outs ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
  • coordinate and schedule patient appointments using the office's scheduling system
  • confirm upcoming appointments and provide necessary pre-visit instructions
  • maintain an organized and up-to-date appointment calendar
  • assist with patient registration and ensure accurate completion of necessary paperwork
