Established as a leader in luxury health and fitness, Equinox operates in major cities across the United States, as well as internationally in London, Toronto, and Vancouver. Known for pushing boundaries and daring to lead in the wellness industry, Equinox cultivates a community where members and employees are inspired to maximize life both inside and outside the club environment. The company’s culture centers around disruptive innovation, passion for excellence, and a team-first mindset, emphasizing humility and relentless pursuit of peak performance at every level.
Hiring for the position of Front Desk Associate at its South Bay location, Equinox seeks individuals who are energetic, professional, and dedicated to delivering the highest standard of customer service. This role is key to enhancing the member experience by providing a warm welcome, ensuring smooth entry procedures, and assisting members and guests with inquiries and account updates. The Front Desk Associate acts as the first point of contact and ambassador of the Equinox brand, embodying the company’s values and commitment to high-performance living.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.78 and is structured to include a range of shifts including opening, closing, and mid-day, requiring flexibility and reliability. Front Desk Associates at Equinox are expected to maintain an orderly work environment, answer phones professionally, and collaborate across departments to support overall club operations. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about health, fitness, and sports who thrive in a fast-paced, member-focused atmosphere and are motivated to contribute to a team-oriented culture.
Beyond the immediate responsibilities, Equinox provides its Front Desk Associates with valuable growth opportunities, competitive salary, and benefits as well as access to exclusive perks such as complimentary club membership, and preferential pricing on personal training, Pilates, spa services, and retail products. This role offers an exciting gateway into the lifestyle and wellness industry, focusing on both personal and professional development. Candidates who are friendly, vibrant, and outgoing, capable of effective communication in person, via email, and phone, will find the environment both challenging and rewarding. Working at Equinox means joining a community invested in each other’s success and a culture that dreams big, never settling for the status quo.
