The associate will act as the first warm, friendly face welcoming guests, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities include handling registration, issuing room keys, providing detailed information about the resort and nearby attractions, confirming reservations, and managing transactions with strict adherence to established procedures. This role requires an individual who is organized, attentive to detail, and capable of multitasking in a busy, fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Associate is expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, effectively communicating with guests to address any inquiries or concerns promptly. This role also involves balancing cash receipts and performing other cashier duties, contributing to the operational accuracy of the front desk. Job Duties
- bring smiles to guests from around the world by providing warm welcomes
- guide guests through the registration process, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions
- process cash and credit card transactions strictly following established procedures
- balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashier/money handling responsibilities
- complete all check-out procedures and verify that the correct charges and credits are reflected in guest folios
- reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and/or groups
- provide guests with room rate quotes
- respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible
