Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor including walking pets and standing for extended periods
  • Comfortable and experienced in handling dogs of various sizes
  • Capacity to lift weights up to 60 lbs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Passion for animals and commitment to providing outstanding care
  • Ability to operate point of sale systems
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness and support cat room duties
  • Must comply with company policies and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years in a customer service role such as customer service, call center, or receptionist
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work with a sense of urgency while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Cheerful, friendly, and positive team-oriented attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail especially in documentation
  • Enjoys problem solving to provide an outstanding guest experience
  • Physically capable of pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods
  • Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and able to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their pets with a friendly, positive attitude
  • Organizing and processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Walking dogs and coordinating suite placement while ensuring guests' needs are met
  • Answering phone calls, responding to voicemails and emails promptly and professionally
  • Completing cashier and point of sale operations accurately
  • Communicating with pet parents and resort leadership to fulfill requests and resolve issues
  • Maintaining cleanliness of entranceway, lobby, restrooms and supporting the upkeep of the cat room
  • Acting as a liaison to veterinary service teams, relaying appointment status and arrivals
