Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor including walking pets and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable and experienced in handling dogs of various sizes
- Capacity to lift weights up to 60 lbs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Passion for animals and commitment to providing outstanding care
- Ability to operate point of sale systems
- Must be able to maintain cleanliness and support cat room duties
- Must comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- One to two years in a customer service role such as customer service, call center, or receptionist
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work with a sense of urgency while delivering exceptional customer service
- Cheerful, friendly, and positive team-oriented attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail especially in documentation
- Enjoys problem solving to provide an outstanding guest experience
- Physically capable of pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods
- Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
Job Duties
- Welcoming pet parents and their pets with a friendly, positive attitude
- Organizing and processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Walking dogs and coordinating suite placement while ensuring guests' needs are met
- Answering phone calls, responding to voicemails and emails promptly and professionally
- Completing cashier and point of sale operations accurately
- Communicating with pet parents and resort leadership to fulfill requests and resolve issues
- Maintaining cleanliness of entranceway, lobby, restrooms and supporting the upkeep of the cat room
- Acting as a liaison to veterinary service teams, relaying appointment status and arrivals
