  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude
  • Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of medical front office experience preferred
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, E-Clinical Works experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes
  • Experience in a specialty medical practice preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Collect patient copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and outstanding balances
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Obtain and process insurance authorizations as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service while advocating for patients and supporting office operations
